“a faithful congregation doing social justice following Jesus Christ.”
We are a social action, social justice faith community, open and affirming, welcoming and supportive of all people. We believe taking the Bible seriously means it cannot always be taken literally. We follow the teachings of Jesus. We worship God. We seek to be faithful to the way of Jesus Christ - alleviating suffering, oppression and injustice, feeding hungry people and housing families that have been displaced. We seek Jesus' way of peace. We know that God's love embraces all persons equally, no matter their age, gender, race, life status, beliefs, sexual orientation, gender identity, or gender expression. We believe that faith is a matter of mind as well as heart. If you are searching for a way and a place of deepening spiritual experience and practice, come in and make yourself at home.No matter who you are, where you are on life's journey, or who you love, we welcome you into the full life and ministry of this church!
“Never place a period where God has placed a comma.”
– Gracie Allen
Currently our initiatives are to faithfully love Children, Neighbor, and Creation. Sometimes that means collecting school supplies to serve school children in our area as well as reminding local schools of the need to be safe for students of all sexual orientations and gender expressions. Sometimes loving our neighbor means standing up with people living in poverty and giving voice to these concerns by calling elected leaders to financial, judicial, and voting rights accountability. Sometimes loving creation means educating children and adults about climate change, or planting a perennial garden, or an herb garden that helps with community meals for many displaced people in our community. You can find a place to serve others here. On a monthly basis we serve 2 meals to displaced people in our community. Come join us in loving God, Children, Neighbor, and Creation!

North Carolina plans to begin Phase 3 near the end of June. When NC Phase 3 begins, Trinity will begin a Phased in Regathering of church programs and partner ministry programs such as AA, Yoga, and PFLAG. For now, our worship is still Online Only at Facebook.com/CommaChurch. We know groups are anxious to begin meeting again in person. Our church board (consistory) will be providing details in a couple days on what re-entering our building will look like when it becomes safe to return. Our hope is to have groups begin re-entering building for meetings when NC Phase 3 begins. Of course, masks will be
required while in building, along with physical distancing, and sanitizing before entering and upon leaving. Please call the office at 704-782-1024, or text Pastor Nathan at 704-224-1653 for more information. Thanks for helping keep everyone as safe as possible. Be aware these plans may change with new data and trends in our area.
