Dearest Faithful at Trinity,

We are all going through challenges, both due to “ordinary life” and due to this Coronavirus. Several members of the Consistory and Nathan have conferred, as well as paid attention to medical advice and civic guidance, and have come up with a plan to suspend on-site services and activities until it is safe to resume. For those who have access, please join us for worship LIVE ONLINE at 11am at www.Facebook.com/Commachurch. Remember to “Like” and “Follow” our church Facebook page so you don’t miss out on updates. www.Facebook.com/Commachurch.

Be prepared to give your ministry supporting offering online at www.paypal.me/Commachurch. You can also mail in your checks to Trinity UCC, 38 Church St. NE Concord, NC 28025.

A Trinity UCC Community Corner Facebook page is now available for support and staying connected as a congregation during this very uncertain time. This is a private group for those who have attended Trinity. You can find that at Facebook.com and search Trinity UCC Community Corner. You’ll have to request to join and answer a question about Trinity. This group page also has instructions for joining a Trinity Zoom Prayer Room on Wednesdays from 7pm – 8pm.

On-site Worship and other gatherings will resume when it is safe to do so.

I encourage everyone to participate online, even though I recognize this process is quite inadequate, missing in particular the special quality of getting together in community. I hope and pray that we shall resume regular services shortly. We have also spoken with the various groups that use our building (AA, PFLAG, Cabarrus County, etc.), leaving it to them if they will meet; several have received word from their parent organizations to suspend meetings. Most have cancelled meeting.

We’re trying to exercise caution here, and you can certainly contact any of us with questions and concerns. Keeping in touch right now is crucial, I think.
